Title:
School psychologist
Description:
The International School of Monaco is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed school psychologist. This position is available from August 19th 2022.

The candidate will be expected to provide child psychology services from ages 3 to 18 and will work as a member of the Safeguarding and Pastoral team. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children from a broad range of backgrounds and with varying psychological needs. The candidate would work very closely with the School Counsellor and Deputy Director Wellbeing to ensure the best support structures are in place for our students.

The candidate will be experienced in following safeguarding procedures and must be prepared to take further safeguarding training as part of their role.

The school is also interested in developing Psychology at an IBDP level and any experience in teaching psychology would be advantageous for the successful candidates.

The candidate will have high expectations of student learning and behavior and will join a caring and experienced team. He/She will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team of reflective teachers who are fully committed to academic excellence within a supportive and caring environment.

Qualifications:
● a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a respected university
● previous experience in teaching psychology is advantageous


The successful candidate will have:

● experience in demonstrating and developing growth mindset tendencies
● a genuine interest in personal growth
● full-time would be dependent upon the successful candidate’s ability to teach psychology at IBDP level.
